Now, the questions are:
Do we mean to be saying this? Do we realize we are saying this? Are we being careless, thoughtless, etc. in saying this? Are we perhaps hurt, acting out in resentment, bitterness, or unforgiveness, saying this? Or is it really what we want to say and just will not come right out and say? Or what about when we come right out and say it? Do we always really mean it? One would think that if one says they do not want this thing or person in their life that is the way it is. But, is it really or is the person kidding themselves? Are they hurt by something they have not forgiven? Do they think they are not good enough so they will not admit what they want because they believe they cannot have it anyway? Is it something else entirely? So the statements we all say are so true: “We make room for what we want in our lives and who we want. We take the time and make the time.” Are they? Seriously… Yes, it should be that simple and if we think about everything this deeply, complexly, etc. it will drive us crazy—or feel like it at least—but seriously, the way people communicate, or do not actually, how do we ever really know??? What do we miss out on in life because we assume? How much time do we waste going over this stuff in our heads because we should not have been thinking about it at all—we should have just gone with the obvious??? But, if we had assumed the obvious, what would have missed…? Does anyone else have a headache yet or feel like they should be writing a country song, Shakespearean poem, Greek tragedy, Lifetime Movie script, etc? Yes, it should be simple… So why is it not? Well, if it were, songwriters, poets, authors, etc. would have far, far less to work with. I would be ok with that. I would not mind just writing HAPPY things, without having to “find the healing” part. I do not see that ever happening, but I would be MORE than ok with it. ~Maysha
